Right Falcon360 dash cam review

Dash Cam Reviews -This truly is a simple guide to your FALCON ZERO F360 dash cam.

We have recently made some dash cam reviews about Falcon Zero F360, and recieved some questions about how to maneuver its menu setings as there are a handful of different modes that you can choose among them based on your situation.
Unlike some other dash cams that needs to log into computers or smart phones to go through various settings, you can directly do it on dash cam FALCON ZERO F360.
We would like to go through several most commonly used functions that you might need to select during your time using the car camcorder.

As a reminder, once you start your engine, the dashboard camera will start instantly and you would know it when you see the green light flash. Once you decide to change anything, you need to pause the video recording and the green light stops flashing.
Another thing to remember is that if you want to choose anything, press MENU/REC button first, the rest will do as followed. Or when you want to resume recording, press back to MENU again. MENU button simply functions as OK button to help you select a setting

[Notes: You may need to strongly press the button to make it work even though you hear a peep sound]

1. Change camera views

As you know, there are 2 channels supported for this dash cam: in front and back. So sometimes, you would like to record only one for a clearer look. All you need to do is to only short press the POWER button and the view may change as desired. And then, press back to MENU to resume recording.

Firstly, you need to press and hold the MODE button until an icon of moon and stars appears on the upper left screen side. If you want to go back to normal mode, simply press and hold MODE again.

Night Vision: the camera supports with 4 infrared LEDs to help you better view inside your car during the night time. Once you press and hold the MODE button, its LEDs around camera lens will turn on.

3. Review Photos and/or Videos

Unlike changing to Night mode, you only need to press MODE button but not hold it. Press the MODE button for several times until you see a list of images to review and look back. Afterwards, press UP and/or DOWN button to select the desired image, then you press the MENU button to view. Move UP and DOWN to see pictures, and press MODE to go back to full list of photos. To record again, simply press MODE until you see the icon of video camera.
To view videos is similar to how you manage the Photo Viewing. However, this time, you look for video clips. Then, it functions exactly the same as above.

4. Other dashboard camera Setings

Initially, you need to press and hold MENU button twice. Then, you can select different settings as below:

Night Vision: Once you press and hold the MODE button, its LEDs around camera lens will turn on.
Zoom: press UP button as zooming in and DOWN button as zooming out.
Loop Recording: there are 3 options for you to choose: 2 minutes, 5 mins, 10 mins or continuously (OFF)
Audio Recording: you can turn it on or off.
White Balance: also a few options are offered here for you such as Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, etc.
There are also choices for this camera such as enabling its Sound, making your customed Languages, and adjusting your Date/Time like other dash cams.

Above is the list of menu options you can choose within the FALCON ZERO F360 dash cam. If you have any other question, we’re glad to help.

The Falcon Zero F360 is an awesome unit. It does not require you to lose any visibility and because it is attached to the rear view mirror you get a great unobstructed view of everything.

First time I hear about this kind of stuff! Sounds great to record moments for camping or hiking trips. The explanation of the functions is pretty clear and easy to understand. If I ever decide to try this tool I will definitely revisit this page.

Thanks!

Do I need any skills to install the Falcon Zero F360? I love the loop recording that it does up to 10 mins continuously.

Thanks for your question! Actually no, Falcon Zero F360 is a very user-friendly dash cam. Once you attach it into the rear view mirror and press the On/Off Button, it will turn on. And Loop Recording Function is really helpful when you keep recording for a long time.

Does the green light stay ON all the time? Seems it would be overwhelming at night??
If the loop mode is off, how long will it record before card is full??
I’m a newbie:)

Hi Craig, thank you so much for your comment. I think the light won’t be on all night. For the memory space, it all depends on your SD card and also the quality of videos. For instance, if you record a video of 1080P with 16GB card, you can record up to 30 hours. I hope my answer helps!
